Ryder Cup day so we played Match play. Draw for teams/partners. Team ‘Snickers’ of Doug, Davis Brennan, Jan and Andy beat team ‘Mars Bars’ of Mair, Richard, Davis Bowles and Rob, 8up in total. Thanks for the drinks after the game. A calm start building to a breezy finish made for a great day out on a well watered (damp) course. Thanks everyone.
Avoid the water cope with the wind when it blows and get to grips with the slick fast greens and Salgados would be an easy course. This is a great course many are put off by the amount of water but don’t worry there is still plenty of room. If you don’t try it you will miss out. It certainly is in great condition and a good venue.
